Satin Jackets was created in 2010 as a studio project from Germany. 12-inch compatible arrangements, a spoonful or two of friskiness and addictive bass-lines unfold their magic, relying on nifty four-to-the-floor grooves topped off with a decent amount of glitter. Bridging the gap between tracks and pop songs, Satin Jackets delivers glossy tunes wrapped in the lushness of modern club sound with that extra amount of basement les connoisseurs desire. Recently, Satin Jackets recruited their buddy Den to take the lead on their live performances while band leader Tim concentrates on producing and his label work.

Starting out quite firmly behind a piano rather than a pair of CDJs, Lancelot is a producer/maker/doer before all else. A graduate of Sydney’s Conservatorium of Music, Lancelot spent several years in touring bands before charging into the club scene in early 2013. Following a string of warmly received records and a constant touring schedule through Australia and Europe, it was 2014’s ‘Givin’ It Up’ EP on acclaimed UK label Anjunadeep (Dusky, Steve Huerta, Clarion) that sprung Lancelot into the scene. An immediate hit with informed chaps like The Magician, Perseus (French Express), T.Williams, Bondax and Ben Pearce, resurgent house don MK even found time to remix the A-side.
A follow-up EP on Anjunadeep featuring Australian diva Ngaiire curried similar favour, premiered by Skream (BBC Radio1) and supported by Jason Bentley (KCRW). After completing a remix for Sydney electro luminaries, The Presets, Lancelot knuckled down in his London studio to write and record the soundtrack for an original television series. The soundtrack has been nominated for several industry awards in Australia and the show optioned for a second season.
Lancelot closed 2014 touring the United States, before dropping a string of releases; ‘Connection’ on Anjunadeep, accompanied by remixes from Mak & Pasteman & Bristol’s Outboxx, a well-received edit of Four Tet via the Deep House Amsterdam crew and most recently, a three track EP on Waze & Odyssey’s w&o Street Tracks imprint - past home to acts like Citizenn, Eliphino and XXXY. Lead single ‘Mover’ was featured by Bicep on their personal blog, premiered by B.Traits (BBC Radio 1) and supported by diverse talents like Mr. G, Agoria, Citizen, Richy Ahmed and Jacques Renault.
Lancelot has headlined clubs across the UK, Europe, United States and Asia, performed at festivals including Secret Garden Party (UK), Warehouse Project (UK), Field Day (Sydney) and TomorrowWorld (Atlanta) and warmed the wheels for Jamie Jones, Julio Bashmore, Horsemeat Disco and more.

Blake Robin aka Luxxury is Los Angeles based producer, bandleader and DJ. He has been making waves for the past year with his controversial LUXXURY edits, a series of dubby, slow disco remixes highlighting buried gold in classic songs. They also feature relatively well known AOR tracks that wouldn't normally figure in a 'cool' DJ set (Bee Gees, Blondie, Fleetwood Mac), in hopes of making the familiar more exciting again by unearthing unexpected treasure...like, who knew how sick that bassline buried under the synths in Foreigner's "Urgent" was?
Launched in July 2013 with Madonna "Vogue (Luxxury edit)", the once-per-month series received immediate support from Greg Wilson, Psychemagik, Ursula 1000, Junior Sanchez, Goldroom and hundreds more. His "Hotel California" edit, launched at the top of 2014, injected new life into the familiar classic rock song giving it a sexy, dubbed out beat and transforming the vocals into a vocoderized robot. It was a runaway smash, attracting nearly 300,000 Soundcloud listens, ink from the Wall Street Journal (who published a front page article about him and his unusual performances) and offers from dozens of labels.
Soon thereafter, takedowns resulted in a major internet kerfluffle, all of which served only to boost Luxxury's profile and add to his mystique. For his DJ aka "Live Remix" sets, Luxxury remixes his collection of stems on the fly using Ableton Live and his trusty Akai APC40 Mk2, resulting in a one-time-only experience of mostly unreleased and totally exclusive Luxxury edits.

Selvagem is the Brazilian duo Millos Kaiser and Trepanado. The Dj’s anarchic and free-associative approach to music allows them to channel all of their influences with their expertly crafted ‘wild’ abandon. From soul to disco, rock to techno, and even their own penned genre ‘Balnearico’, Selvagem’s optimism always shines bright in their music. With their steady rise to prominence garnering attention across the globe, the duo’s sights are set high.
Their roots in Sao Paolo saw Selvagem establish a monthly outdoor party, which is now considered the City’s best - twice over in fact, as voted by Brazil’s top-selling newspaper. Are you familiar with Hakim Bey’s ‘Temporary Autonomous Zone’? It’s like that, only with 2 thousand dancers. The years have seen them play host to Optimo, Severino, Justin Strauss and Eric Duncan to name a few.
2013 saw the release of ‘Discoteca Alucinante’ EP on Tim Sweeney’s Beats In Space Records, featuring three re-edits of obscure Brazilian disco, followed by ‘Tudo Bem/ Luanda’ on Philadelphia’s Universal Cave in 2015.
Just off the back of their European tour which saw the duo play 17 dates in just 2 months, 2015 will see the release of Millos and Trepanado’s first studio production.
Selvagem’s energy is infectious, coupled with their understanding and upholding of the community they’re building around them, the pair have just sunk their teeth in what is shaping up to be their biggest year to date.

German DJ Producer duo Coeo are making a serious impact at the moment, and rightly so. In 2014 they had several releases on established labels such as Gomma's sub ‘Toy Tonics’ or New York's ‘Let's Play House Records’. Their passion for four-to-the-floor grooves and detailed arrangements was bound to demand people's attention and their tracks have been featured heavily on mixes of artists like Purple Disco Machine, Todd Edwards & many more. Their originals have had high profile remixers such as James Welsh, Steve Huerta & The Revenge (just to name a few) tackle their arrangements.
The duo itself consists of Florian Vietz and Andreas Höpfl, 2 guys, who met during high school and shared a mutual love for Hip Hop and Soul music. Some years later they fell in love with House music and spent more and more nights Djing in bars & clubs of their hometown Munich. The duo's name, ‘Coeo’, is a latin expression, which comes up with a deeper meaning: Though hard to pronounce, it can be translated as “to unite“ or “to form an alliance“ and makes absolute sense for a DJ Duo who's aim is to bring people together on the dancefloor.
Artists like Boys Noize, Laurent Garnier, Kasper Bjorke, Jimpster or Tensnake have showed support for their productions & Traxsource listed them as in the top ten Deep House artists of 2014. You’ll be hearing a lot more from this duo in the years to come.
